Carlos Teves has a typical underdog success story. Despite Carlos’s success with the Boca Juniors, his first professional team, he joined the Corinthians in Brazil and became highly criticized by the Brazilian media as they claimed that he was not capable of playing on a Brazilian team.
Tevez proved all of media wrong with his astonishing performance with the Corinthians. He scored two goals below the all time league record of 20. Carlos’s number became one of the highest selling jerseys in the Brazil.
When he played with West Ham, the manager of them team urged Carlos to quite, since after his acquisition the team lost nine games in a row. He again proved everyone that he was worth of the superstar status as his goal against Manchester United was the reason that the team did not get relegated.
With his current team Manchester United, Tevez has turned into the elite striker for the team. His partnership with Wayne Rooney in blinding attacks has taken Manchester United far in many different competitions.
