including the Third Division, Second Division, and
Premier League. The Boro sqaud played out of Ayresome Park for the first 95 years of its existence
and moved to its current home Riverside Stadium in 1995. Legendary English football players Nick Barmby and Alf Common once played on the Middlesbrough squad. The Middlesbrough FC team wears

Middlesbrough FC in the 2008/2009 Season
With the Boro finishing 13th place last season, the club is looking to make advancements this season in the EPL. Manager Gareth Southgate recruited defensive midfielder Didier Digard and
winger Marvin Emnes in the off-season to get the job done. Boro will also be looking at Brazilian international striker Afonso Alves to make big plays at critical times.
The off-season changes to the defense however might cause a problem for the Middlesbrough squad. The club lost experienced Australian international goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer to Fulham and
right back
Luke Young to Aston Villa. This will cause force defender Seb Hines and Justin Hoyte to elevate their level of play.
