With a South American record 17 international titles, Club Atletico Boca Juniors is the most successful club in Argentina and have never been relegated from Primera Division. International titles the club has won include the Intercontinental Cup in 1977, 2000 and 2003, the Copa Libertadores in 1977, 1978, 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2007, the Copa Sudamericana in 2004 and 2005, and the Recopa Sudamericana in 1990, 2005 and 2006. Martin Palermo. Boca Juniors was founded in 1905 by Italian immigrants, leading to the nickname "the Genoese" for the club's fans. Their home ground is Estadio Alberto J. Armando, also called La Bombonera, in La Boca, Buenos Aires. The current home kit has remained more or less the same since 1913 and consists of blue jerseys with a yellow horizontal stripe, blue shorts and blue socks. The away kit consists of a gold jersey, blue shorts and gold socks. Notable Boca Juniors players have included Martin Palermo, Carlos Tevez, Diego Maradona and Pancho Sa. The club hold records for the most official professional titles in Argentine football, with 40, and the most consecutive matches in Primera Division, with 40, and also share the record for the most Intercontinental Cup victories.
