Team Overview

The Australian national football team is the pride of a young footballing nation trying to play the game the right way. The game has been based on the English football styles for a long time, and can only now (after the World Cup 2006) impose its own fooball personality and style on the game, and not be so reliant on the english for inspiration. Always learning ang improving and eager to impress on the world stage. Players are gradually becoming more matured, technically sound, and composed. Australia has been unable to produce players with a true footballing "brain" with any regularity, with football still struggling domestically, trying to forge a football culture into the Australian sporting public.
