Any story that involves a spark plug getting thrown at a one-armed drummer is more than welcome on this blog.
If we just spoke aboot fitba' it would just be boring

N.T.V in their 'don't look back in anger series have just completed a review of The Good Doctors 1998/99 season.
Reading it, I had forgoten (Buckfast Years 1992-2000ish) how close we ran Advocaat Millionaires that season.
We went into "five past six sunday" wieoot 10 first team players.
Boyd, Jackie, Burley, Lubo, Mjallby, Gould, O'Donnell, Blinker (eh?), McKinlay and Reiper.
The cup final that season was pish right enough.....
You could be right Pujol. You right aboot the talking pish bit though....

Evening your Lairdship.
I remember going to see Daft Leotard at the Hammy Odeon about 200 years ago.
I couldn't believe how dreadful they were. It was like listening to a cd through a partition wall.
My pal I went with became increasingly irate until eventually in a rage he produced a spark plug from his pocket and hurled it at the stage, yelling 'This is for the f***ing drummer!'
The heavy metallic shud - cluck as the plug struck something was audible.
Joe Elliot ducked his shoulders in a delayed reaction and about 30 seconds later security where mooching about with torches around us.
Not footy related, but then even my blogs struggle to stay on topic

"But....was The Good Doctor Jo oor PLG?"
It's not often you talk sense, but...
I said to anybody that would listen that Dr Jo would have ripped Advocaat a new hole if he'd stayed another season. His football was excellent and transfer record superb, despite his late appointment and "Mad Marko" problems.

I see PSG are playing Man City in the UEFA Vase on Wednesday this week. Mmmmmm, might be worth a wee watching that.
I think we can say we maybe dodged a bullet wie PLG and that we should thank Bawwy(
and The Monster Munch Crew for chasing him oot.
But....was The Good Doctor Jo oor PLG?

PLG team got beat 0-1 by Rennes, who are the ones now classed énd (PSG 6th). But I was a match that could have finished 6-7. PLG has got them playing entertaining stuff - thank Gord that The UncardedOne and BoydyTumbleYerWulkies pushed him out the door.
Thankful for small MERCIs

The HG is now a single guy. A quick buck lawyer is drawing up papers to serve on 50% of the HG's assets.
Heh, PLG turns round a sinking ship, did it finish up 1-0 to Rennes?, and his stock goes back up after a dodgy spell in charge of the good ship bigotry.
Some decent Bears, not those of The Huntype, will admit that PLG, given time, would have turned them into a decent team. Europa success and awe that...like Wattie did, but PLG would have made it better looking.
Unsure how you make Charlie Adam better looking but seemingly there is no end to that French blokes talents...

It seemed that the Holy Goalie was healed by these blondes and lager, but, and correct me if I'm wrong but isnt he married?

Watching Rennes v PSG just now, with PSG with an outside chance of going 2nd in the league tonight.
Eat yer heart out Mr Moonbeams
Wouldn't be surprised if Boydchenko has damaged his hip with the roly poly celebration of ... an own goal
Comedy gold indeed

With a free midweek it`s time for the players to get ready to go again and start playing with style. Hard games coming against the Ernians, the Ertz and the Irks. A vital part of the season. I`m away to relax until next Sunday by the radio. :-/
Have a good week.
