Striking Depth

Spalletti has been granted the money by the club and he will be happily now looking to sign a striker for the club, a player that has been missing from Roma's squad for long. Many names linked and all or at least most are rumours:

I - David Trezeguet: He is a top class striker, I always liked him, I have faith in him to show Roma some good potential but at the age of 31 what can a player do after suffering an injury and knowing he ain't Totti?

II - Michel Owen: I loved him at Liverpool, and always did, he is a player that can make the difference for Roma but we already have someone in his position at the injury table a lot actually.

III - Klaas Jan Huntelaar: I saw his goals with Madrid, he is not that of a wowess player.

IV - Luis Fabiano: sometimes we coud dream, way too costy.

V - Roman Pavlyuchenko: Amazing player, I wished he joined Roma last season, but we didn't show interest in him, now I am still trying to keep him on my mind.

VI - Stefano Okaka: I would not mind having him a 2nd sub striker after having Totti and Vucinic starters with Menez first sub, and no Baptista is a midfielder.

VII - Alessio Cerci, Claudio Della Pena, Mauro Esposito, Simone Palermo, Alvarez and Kevin Zarineh: Hell no, I'd pay to sell them. They are a bunch of unwanted loaned out players.

VIII - Vincenzo Montella: It doesn't matter.

IX - Totti, Vucinic and Menez: no discussion

X - Baptista: he is a midfielder and yes he should stay.

XI - Luca Toni: A big one, He is my best player and my favourite, I know he ain't coming to Roma and nobody wants him but I just like him
