unfortunately a quiet day today....


Arsenal legend Pat Rice has been on the Arsenal website saying our squad will be stronger than ever next year and in his 40 years as a coach and a player with the Gooners, he says that next season the squad we have should perform and seriously contend for any competitions.


Not too much transfer speculation today, a bit of an update with Nasri . Apparently he has already agreed terms with Arsenal, but must wait until he returns from Euro due to some legal crap. In other news Lehmann has left now for Stuttgart. He has agreed a one-year deal with the Germans. Although his last couple of seasons have been a bit on the wobbly side, he was a world class keeper and performed crucially during our unbeaten season. Cheers Jens... you crazy German bastard ... you will be missed. Also, Man U signed Ramsey.... Wankers.


Mourinho was appointed the top job at Inter yesterday. Although it was slightly expected i cant help but sympathise with former boss Mancini - who led Inter to 3 consecutive Serie A victories. Mourinho is looking to bring in some of his old Chelsea players, including Lampard and Drogba according the BBC, and Essien and Carvalho according to the Sun. This should be good news for us, especially getting that cheating cunt Drogba out of the premiership.


David Dein popped up today, he has been defending clubs with a lot of foreign players, saying that they cannot restrict the amount clubs have, and is urging caution over Sepp Blatter's 'six-plus-five' rule.


Baros has claimed that Czech Republic can still perform even with the loss of Rosicky. I think players have to say this after losing their best player simply to keep up morale... but at least we wont be the only ones to have suffered in waiting on the return of a top player, hopefully now he can have some rest and recover for next season.


Daily mail has claimed the Scum are ready to make a bid for Barcelona's Dos Santos. I will be really gutted if he goes there because, once said to be the next Ronaldinho, he is a young player with a huge amount of talent and for £6m (+ £3m based on appearances) i think we should have put in a bid for him.

Bit of news today, as usual a couple more faces for us to have a look at, two Spaniards; Dani Guiza and Ruben de la Red. Guiza is a striker from Mallorca and finished last season as the Primera Liga's top scorer, with a creditable 27 goals in 37 appearances... Thats pretty fucking good.... and would be a nice replacement for... say the 2 goals in 31 appearances provided by Hleb. Heres one of his goals against Barcelona , i no its not the best of clips but i love the commentary so make sure you got the volume up! Apparently he could attract the interest of Barcelona and Valencia, and it is rumored Mallora would demand 15 million Euros, about £11.8m. De la Red is a young midfielder, he has been on loan at Getafe from Real Madrid, and has now returned to the Spanish giants. An offer of around 12 million Euros, £9.4m, may tempt the club into allowing the 22 year old to move to London. Unfortunately it has attracted the Scum into 'Renewing interest in the player.' They are both representing Spain for Euro 2008, so it will be good to watch them alongside Cesc.


I no we want to keep the Nasri talk to a minimum but Wenger has said we wont be signing him until July. Apparently it's some shit to do with the wage difference not being as large as it used to be between the French and English leagues. Regardless of this he still wants to get him over and has said he hopes he will after Euro 2008.... I just hope they don't want double the price by then.


Van Persie is looking to be back to full training for Holland on Wednesday ... I cant help thinking that if he gets fit for them, he will come back injured for us - but lets hope not, he's a world class player and hopefully he can use this tournament so come August he is fit and on form for the coming season.


Theo Walcott had a good run out playing the last half hour yesterday. It was god to see him play and he had a good game showing good pace and runs, and good composure. Why he wasn't our starting right wing to Eboue - a man who does not understand the rules and can certainly not play football- is beyond me. His pace is so dangerous to any team, and i just hope he an keep improving on his shooting and providing, his crosses are already looking pretty awesome.


4 days to go now until the Englandless Euro. We have a good run out of players as Arsenal fans so it should provide some excitement. Fabianski i forgot to mention in yesterdays blog, he will be given a chance to earn some great experience, and as the Polish goalkeeper i am sure will be seeing a lot of action. He has been called the most talented Polish goalkeeper of his generation but is still behind first choice Artur Boruc. I still cant understand why Clichy wasn't picked for France, but fuck it, go have a relaxing summer Gael, and get nice and prepared for next season - we'll have you all to ourselves! Portugal have had a scare seeing Cristiano Ronaldo leave training with an ice pack wrapped around his ankle - HAHAHAHAHA piece of shit.

Welcome to a brand new blog!


Hi we're two Londoners at university... with fuck all to do all day football is our life, well Arsenal. With an obvious lack of any football interest through the summer we feel the need to indulge in as much Arsenal talk and transfers as we can, and follow our boys' journey through Euro 2008.


Now... On to business


First things first- Ashley Cole = Cunt


Starting with the solid evidence it is looking almost certain to signing Samir Nasri. There has been a lot of talk about this kid and we cannot wait to see him perform at the Emirates. For those of you who have ever played Football Manager I am sure you understand our exitement. His clips look great and he looks like a very exiting young player. But anyway, the speculation for this player has gone on for so long lets not waste much more time until he's actually arrived.


There has been a bit of talk of the 24 year old German attacking midfielder -Piotr Trochowski from Hamburg SV, (currently under the control of fat cunt ex scum Martin Jol). Taking a great young player off that walrus will be a sweet little bonus. He seems pretty good and has scored some blinders, including a 25 yard winner against former team Bayern Munich, after which they were desperate to get him back as a replacement for Michael Ballack. Seeing how highly regarded Ballack is in Germany - this is a big compliment.


A lot of speculation as usual, Cardiff have said Aaron Ramsey can leave if he is allowed to return on loan for next season. Wouldn't matter too much to us as it doesnt look like he would get a first team place next year with the array of youngsters we already have looking to break into the first team, however having seen what he has done with cardiff the last couple seasons looks very exciting all the same. The likes of Yaya Toure, and Torric Jibril ( "The African wonderkid") have been linked to us aswell. Although Jibril is only 16 he seems like a typical Wenger signing. Nothing official about these boys.. just speculation.


On top of all the transfer news within the gunner camp we also want to keep up with all of our boys over in austria and switzerland this summer. We have a lot of players involved, with Cesc as Spain's number 10, Van Persie if he manages to not break, Senderos captaining Switzerland with Djourou alongside him. Gallas and Nasri will be playing for France and it will be great to see what Nasri can do on the international scene.


There was some stupid talk in the Telegraph about Wenger going to PSG in 2011. Its all a load of absolute shit. The kind of shit that is so weird and peculiar you wonder where the fuck it came from. Its not even worth talking about to be honest, but you can have a look if you want
