So how would you rate the team so far?

So this is all fairly predictable isnt it..sometimes great sometimes average, sometimes very poor.

Shame this is only a shock to one person who is the manager.

Anyway after watching all the games this year my ratings are as follows:

Manuel - 7 - Not really done anything wrong has he, been beaten by some screamers and still not coming out quick enough for me.

Bacary - 6 - Not quite up to last year yet but I think that will come.

Gael - 6 - Passing still awry but makes up with it with his recovery, like Bacary you have to love him.

Kolo - 5 - Back to headless chicken for me but showing signs of improvement, he needs a big ma to play with like Sol, but Willy isnt that man, shame.

Willy - 4 - For a man of his supposed class, doenst show it enough and like most gooners, I agree he's no Captain. Needs a Adams-esque rocket up his arse I think.

Theo - 6.5 - Getting there isnt he, a bit more consistant, a bit more confidence and he'll be a shoe in. A better forward would have stuck in some of his crosses.

Cesc - 6.5 - We'd be in a lower table without him surely and he's not on form yet. Feel sorry for him as he is a loner in midfield. Can see him going next summer if this carries on.

Denilson - 4 - The occaional glimpse of something... just not sure what. Not effective enough for me and seems to have a really really poor games and average ones. Not what we hoped but is still young...

Alex - 5 - So slow he runs backwards.. He's ok.. and that's about it.

Samir - 7 - Think he's going to be great, very comfortable on the ball, likes a shot. warming up nicely.

Robin - 6 - An enigma for me, doesnt seem to offer the team much (in the end) other than to slow the game down. He cant play left wing and doesnt want to which doesnt help. Can't seem to play with Ade either but not sure if anyone could.

Ade - 5 - If he could shoot he would be worth all that money Barca supposoedly offered. His work rate is usally amazing however and he must be a nightmare to mark. Gets over confident too quickly for my liking.

Eboue - 7 - Thankless jobs this year as mister fill-in and i think he's done ok considering. Seriously though, is that what we have in reserve for central midfield?

Nicklas - 7 - Sometimes a bit lacking in control early in a game but I like him and should be used more against those beligerant defences.

Carlos - 8 - He looks the real deal doesnt he. I'd get rid of Robin and put Carlos on for a few games. If he fires I can see him being prolific. Possibly a bit weak for the league at the moment.

Arsene - 3 - You can understand and respect how he thinks, he's incredibly loyal to his players and wants the club to be financially secure. He just wont gamble on something he doenst have and that's either a glass half-full / half empty thing and I think most gooners are thinking empty now..

So his transfer policy this summer has proven already to be wrong with 2 losses already and some abject defending.

I keep saying this is our easiest set of games in the season and we've blown those so not a hope in hell of being title challengers. 

Still lots of possibilities yet but those bookies dont tend to be wrong that often do they.

Damn its frustrating to be a Gooner at the moment.
