Twente & Guzman

A win's a win?

Fair enough really, nice to see Walcott get involved in the action, i agree with some of Alan Hansen's comments about Walcott's composure, but there are signs that Theo can be great with a tad more confidence.

I thought we would win but I was more looking forward to Mclarens post match "dutch" interviews. Is there such a thing as "pigeon" Dutch?

Anyway Cesc coming in showed us what we were missing and AW's comment about him showing calm and confidence asks the question, "Imagine if we bought ANOTHER player with the same characteristics?"

Speaking of which, paper talk/gossip/bu**s**t suggests Feyenoord’s Jonathan de Guzman is on his way... a 20 year old tough tackler..  Can't see this happening can you? What would it do to Denilson or Diabys mind-set knowing that a guy of similar age is being bought for >£10m (to not sit on the bench)? Right AW age but not exactly fitting in with AW's normal rules of transfer in my opinon?

Thanks for the comments btw, am new to this blog stuff and no way would I consider my thoughts to be gospel!

Cheers.
