Hleb's agent released a statement indicating that his client has had a face to face talk with Arsene Wenger and he is leaving the club this summer, no turning back.
If you ever wonder what were Hleb and Flamini laughing about while watching Arsenal play Everton last week, it has to be something along the line, "See you in Milan, we're off to win trophies and get a better paycheck too. Doubt we'll win anything with this kids." ~ I am not quoting from any source, this is just my thoughts.
Well, there is some truth in my fantasied statement:
1. They do pay better.
- Thats a fact that we cannot deny. We have a stadium to pay for and the club refuse to pay stupid money that would damage the entire club in future. So, its subjective and you are free to choose.
2. Perhaps you can win trophies over there.
- PERHAPS. No team is guaranteed a trophy. Up till now, even Man Utd is not guaranteed that they'll win anything if they lose and Chelsea win this weekend and Chelsea win again in Moscow. Is Henry going to play in Moscow? He can even get flocked out of Barca to a smaller club this summer.
3. "The kids" will win nothing playing with them.
- True, but they'll win trophies without them.
Fact is, they are both replaceable and here is a chance to buy a creative player who can score instead of passing in front of the goal mouth. What about a goal scoring CM in Flamini's replacement? Diaby to score more? Gilberto already proved that last season he can score 10 goals. Look at everything in a positive way.
Cheers!
On Arsenal is NOT in crisis
