I think in most a pretty fair summary of the game but as per usual Arsenal fans look for excuses for any defeat rather than they're own shortcomings obviosly the Wenger trait is rubbing off passed the players and through to the fans.Most of the players on show in the semi have featured in the league this year, Arsenal were pretty lucky to gain the win in the league recently it is Wengers arrogance that amazes most footie fans he plays his 3rd choice keeper etc .As the former Gunner Paul Merson said on the night having potential is one thing if you win nothing it means nothing ! Being the best side in the country to watch doesnt mean you are the best side in the country ! In May is when it matters and if Arsenal regain the Title well i will be the first to say they have earned it.

No one is hiding the shortcomings of the team, but ultimately it was in defence where the Arsenal where worst, and it was there that Hoyte, Traore, and Fabianski mattered. They are a long way away from first team level yet, and sadly Gallas had an awful game, so gave no guidance.

As for luck winning in the league, well you might also point to the jammy, late equalisers that Spurs have scored at WHL... had they not then their home record against Arsenal would be quite poor.

Fact of the matter is this, you can't expect me to bat an eyelid at something my club treats as a reserve team competition (3 semis, and 1 final in 4 years at that). Yes, Cesc, Hleb and so on did play, but that was only because of injuries.

Spurs can go as crazy as they want to, they have every right. But the point is still that the highlight of their season is a competition that doesn't matter much to the serious teams.
