Baros or Solano at Villa Park?

A weeks ago I wrote that Milan Baros would be joining Aston Villa. I even went so far to say the only stumbling block was the fee.

Aston Villa have failed again to show any desire in wanting a player and instead of going all out for Baros are reportedly haggling over half a million and the possibility of losing Solano.

I wouldn't have wanted to lose Solano two weeks ago but after what he has said and the prospect of getting Baros in return the more I thik about it it's just too good to...

West Ham's potential suitor eyed Villa

West Ham's potential investor, Iranian-born businessman Kia Joorabchian and his consortium Media Sports Investment (MSI), had looked into the possibility of buying Aston Villa, it was revealed today.

A quote in the Guardian, attributed to a source linked closely to MSI said "You have to look at what is available on the market. Chelsea is not for sale, Aston Villa are talking about ?78m, Newcastle would want ?200m to take the club private, Tottenham also want ?200m and Arsenal would be ?400m...
