Bolton have won more games away from home than we've won at home this season and whenever I have sort of expected a result this season, it's not happened.

This game has the potential to go horribly wrong. So horrible in fact that the cynical side of me, reserved for a Barry post later, could really go to town on this prediction, but I'm not. I've got it in check.

We go into this game needing three points and if we don't get them and Everton do, they could go above us, as could Portsmouth and Hull by the end of this weekend, although in reality it will probably only be Hull, if we lose and they win as our goal difference would save us.

It's not the easiest thing, digging up information on a team you had never heard of before the draw for the UEFA Cup was made, but I've done a little digging and what follows it all I could come up with in the 25 seconds I allotted my search.

Three times this season I've glossed over defeats with the classic 'if we were offered this place, after this amount of games at the start of the season, we'd have all accepted it'.

Well, I'm not going to on Saturday evening if we don't pick up three points, I'm just going to accept that this isn't the season where we're going to finish top four and possibly not even top five.

Last Saturday was a fantastic result. We outplayed Arsenal and beat them playing football - there was no luck about it. In fact, if anyone was lucky, Arsenal were, that we didn't score more.

But, that was last weekend. This weekend we have the champions coming to play and it will be different. Different because they're going to come wanting the three points and may very well get it.
