Man City came as favourites but left probably satisfied with a draw at Villa Park - in fact you felt the moment Bellamy's equaliser was slammed home on 67mins that both sides would have taken the draw there and then. So far the new season hasn't really gone to plan at all, results haven't been bad but apart from Liverpool the opposition we have
so far beaten has been pretty poor. Here is hoping then that tonight's game is a classic open attacking goal fest and that we win, if not just to wipe the incredibly smug look off of Sparky's
tight permed head.
