was never fully embraced as a Villa player, I thought he was a pretty
good player but prone to lapses of concentration - as a Villa fan I
think he always gave 100% for the club and I wish him the very best of
luck at Bolton.
I am shocked thought that we've lost another player before signing a

Most thought that Downing would usher in a flood of much needed transfer activity at Villa Park, the reality is almost all speculation since has been killed stone dead.
