So far the transfer market across the board has failed to really spring into life, but with close seasons starting for most teams already - the next two weeks should see Villa finally add to their incredible shrinking squad. So lets look at some of the targets we have been most linked with and my opinion of our chances of getting the players (considering not once have we even had a bid confirmed yet):

Despite more links than the worlds biggest paper chain, Villa seem no nearer signing replacements for Laursen and Barry.
