A look ahead to Pompey

Sunday, 21 August 05, 07:05 PM · Comments (0)

Portsmouth
Portsmouth
Portsmouth have played two games, conceded four goals and picked up zero points this season so it will probably be Villa that gift them something.

I see this game finishing all square as it's never been a fun place for Villa to visit but deep down I want the victory so badly.

Villa need the win and on paper should but I also thought we'd beat Bolton which didn't happen.

I will say however that I am somewhat pleased with the performance against United on Saturday and hope that the players can take the good points of the match with them to the South coast and try and forget about the loss.

I am hoping Kevin Phillips and Partik Berger will be able to play as I think they could be the deciding factor.

I'm betting for a draw but hoping for a win.
