Agbonlahor joins Watford on loan

The Championship club moved to add another striker to their books after recently signing Les Ferdinand and Trevor Benjamin (loan).

The 18-year-old has now linked up with the Vicarage Road outfit and could make his debut on Saturday against Crewe.

He told the Official web site "I played a lot of Academy and Reserve football last season but I need first team experience. It certainly didn't do Gary Cahill any harm. He did really weel at Burnley and I'm sure he'll be a better, more confident player."
