Alain Perrin overtakes David O'Leary in premiership sack race

Wednesday, 16 November 05, 03:03 PM · Comments (0)

Portsmouth manager Alain Perrin has overtaken David O'Leary according to Paddy Power as the manager most likely to get the sack first this season.

Perrin is the firm favourite now at 4/5 with O'Leary a very distant second at 5/1 followed by Midlands rival Steve Bruce at 9/1.

If there was ever a time to have your first online flutter then O'Leary is what they call in the trade a banker.

Portsmouth play Liverpool at Anfield this weekend while Birmingham City entertain Bolton on Monday evening. No one manager is going to feel confident of a victory - possibly Perrin most of all.

You could always split the bet and have a tenner on each and if you're feeling really lucky back Villa to win - you'll get good odds.

If you place a ?10.00 bet with Paddy Power you also get a free ?10.00 bet by clicking here.
