Alan Curbishley to take over the Villa hotseat in the summer?

Alan Curbishley to replace David O'Leary?

As rumours go this is one that I wouldn't mind coming true. Reports from News24, a South African based website, claim that there is speculation in the press that Curbishley might be coming to Aston Villa in the summer.

We all know Gordo could do better than the current muppet we have so it's fair to say Alan Curbishley could also. He's done well at Charlton and if you consider the amount of money he hasn't had he's done a spectacular job.

Curbishley is the second longest-serving manager in the Premiership behind Sir Alex Ferguson, having been in charge at The Valley since 1991. During this time, he has guided Charlton on an upward curve of steady improvement, and, despite some early setbacks, he has taken the club from being a languishing First Division side to a solid top-flight outfit that is capable of challenging for Europe.

Curbishley is an ex Aston Villa player so he knows what the expectations are at Villa Park. Would he be a good choice as manager though? You decide, answer the quick question to the right.

Also, don't forget to sign the petition to get David O'Leary and his team of muppets sacked.
