Ashley Cole launches libel action against the News of the World and The Sun

In a move to confirm his hetrosexual status Ashley Cole of Arsenal has launched a libel action against the News of the World and The Sun for harassment, breach of privacy and libel ? even though the footballer is not named in any of the stories published by the News of the World over the past few weeks.

This is why footballers should not be paid all this money. Why do this? The only reason I can assume he's doing this is photo's are about to come out of the player and his mobile.

Does it matter that Ashely Cole is gay or bisexual. Does it matter, really?
