Aston Villa 0 Liverpool 2 - O'Blarney out please

Doug Ellis will you please fire this man at the next possible opportunity, failing which give me the nod and I'll do it for you.

When are we going to see an Aston Villa team to be proud of?

John Gregory was back at Villa Park today. I just hope he was talking to Doug Ellis about taking over again. Atleast with a John Gregory team you saw a bit of bite and direction.

Something that did surpsie me today was Gavin McCann in the first half. He owned the midfield. What happened in the second half though was a reversal to the Gavin McCann we have all got to know so well.

I feel sorry for Ridgewell. He played well today and the penalty wasn't a penalty. Crouch fell over quicker than David O'Blarney could think of an excuse, which is saying something.

Villa looked like they might create when Juan Pablo Angel came on but nothing happened and it was left to the return of Peter Crouch to have a hand in both goals.

There is no surprise with the result and anyone that thinks there is needs to see a Doctor. David O'Blarney is a waste of space and should leave. Sorry but that's all I have to say on the subject today.
