Aston Villa are without a manager for pre-season tour

Thursday, 03 August 06, 11:55 AM · Comments (0)

Roy Aitken has pulled out of the tour matches in Germany and Holland to continue his recovery from surgery earlier this summer.

Nice of the official site to tell us this but why can't they tell us who will be leading the team while away?

Could this mean that there is an announcement about to happen on who will be the new manager? I doubt it but we've got to look at everything with a little hope right now.

We all wish Roy a speedy recovery but please, somebody tell us, who will be leading the players? We reckon it will be Cowans and MacDonald but it would be nice if they told us the whole story at once, for a change.
