He is still only 16 years old but is a first team regular for Hamilton Academical in the Scottish first division and according to the Daily Mirror he is also getting interest from Manchester United, Bolton and Rangers.
We've not found much on the lad but he did score a hat-trick as the Accies under 19 team defeated Dalbeattie Star 7-0 in the SFA Youth Cup Round 3 recently.
Did you spot the deliberate inclusion of where the rumour came from. Pass the salt.

Why are we constantly being linked with nobody's. First it was the likes of freddy eastwood from southend who are bottom of the league, shaun maloney and now another scotish unknown. If as you say Man U are after the likes of theese players i would gaurantee you the very next day they would ship them out on loan to gain more experience.I know there isnt much out there in january as no-one knows where they stand at that time of the season but we should be being linked with the bigger names such as robbie keane and shaun wright phillips as neither are playing regular football at the minute
DR: HOOLY, Eastwood is in double figures this season for the team bottom of the Championship. He WILL be playing Prem football soon - you could make exactly the same comments about a year ago about Bent or Ashton and either would cost 10 million now. I'd like to see us take a chance - not put all our eggs in one basket but have a look at him.
we need to buy more wide men (wingers) like S.W.P. or James Milner. Somebody who can supply Angel/Sutton with the crosses. We already have an array of front men to choose from anyways.
Unless O Neill is planning to convert gabby and luke moore to a winger on a full time basis and that would be great.
Yet again a very bad season, yet again question marks about the manager, well i dont care whether its o,leary or o,neill, the answer is painfully obvious a lot of the players are just not good enough and should really be looking over there shoulders when crying about new players being brought in.If villa are to progress to the top it will take time, but how do you get into the heads of the players to motivate them is the big question not only at villa, take a look at England.my feeling is the money they earn creates a lack of motivation for a lot of them. luckily there are still teams that dont just turn up.Villa do need time but it is one hell of a big task.SO ALL WE CAN DO IS HOPE
