Aston Villa 'offered' Solano to Liverpool

Who do you believe? David O'Leary who said yesterday that Solano was going nowhere or The Times, who today are reporting that Aston Villa offered Nolberto Solano as part of the deal to get Milan Baros.
I want to believe the manager but I respect The Times a helluva lot more than I do David O'Leary at the moment.
Baros is back in the country today after the friendly defeat to Sweden last night that saw the Czech Republic eight game winning streak come to an end.
Lets hope the Baros deal can be concluded quickly and without Solano heading in the opposite direction.
