When Milan Baros joined Aston Villa he made the same mistake so many players have before him but rarely do again; he believed the O'Leary blarney that he actually knew anything about football management.
Baros is young though and he has a World Cup coming up to showcase his talents and I have no doubt he'll find a new club. In fact we believe his agent is already at an advanced stage with Villarreal.
We said back in November that Baros made up his mind to go and it's a known fact at Villa Park. It's highly likely Milan Baros has played his last game in claret and blue and there is only one reason he has decided to leave; David O'Leary.
We understand that Baros lost all confidence in the manager after the Doncaster game and decided then that he'd have to leave to get results. The only positive that can be taken out of the whole Baros saga is that if there was another manager and he felt he was the right man he'd stay and give him a chance.
It's not Aston Villa Baros is unhappy with, just O'Leary.
