Barry finally gets the call

It?s been coming for quite a long time now and at last Gareth Barry has got the call up he has long deserved.

It?s not a surprise for many people and the questions as to why he?s not been in the squad, for once, won?t fill the papers this weekend.

I hope he?s not going to be put at full-back to cover for Ashley Cole as Barry is most dangerous from left midfield, but it depends on who?s available as England are short on the whole left side.

Wherever Gareth plays, I know he?ll play well enough to make sure he?s in the next squad.
