Barry offered to Newcastle in swap deal for Milner

Wednesday, 14 June 06, 08:34 AM · Comments (0)

According to our friends at the ICNetwork, David O'Leary is about to offer Gareth Barry to Newcastle for James Milner.

I really don't think Barry will leave if we get a new manager but if we keep O'Leary and this rumour is true I really wouldn't blame him wanting to leave. Last year O'Leary offered Solano to Liverpool to help tempt the Milan Baros deal and there is very little he wouldn't sell and that includes his grand mother, probably.

Barry hasn't come out and told us anything despite lots of speculation this summer. Spurs are apparently interested as well as Newcastle; it would be nice if the player came out and told us his intentions but if O'Leary doesn't tell him anything he probably doesn't know.

I'm not sure who I'd prefer but probably Barry simply because he's a Villa player but who do you want; answer the quick question to the right.
