The Barry saga over the summer ran and ran and it actually became quite tedious. It is in fact still quite tedious, but also quite interesting at the same time. How many now would say 'yes please' to £12mn. for Barry?
It doesn't matter though, it is quite clear the player wants to leave - he said as much in the News of the World and back then, there was "no going back" and he hasn't come out and said anything different.
Well, The Mirror have today published a quite, picked up from somewhere, that Martin O'Neill is looking at it window to window and that if Liverpool show interest again, they're suggesting it may be tough for Martin O'Neill to keep hold of the player.
We said once the Liverpool saga had passed we would look at it from window to window. I'm not trying to push anything in any direction. Gareth just needs to get on with his game and see where it takes him. - Martin O'Neill
Now, if Liverpool show interest again and the player again shows his determination to leave the club that made him a multi-millionaire, to go finish third or fourth in the league, is he a player you really want sticking around?
Now, enough of Barry as I can't see him playing for us next season even if we finish fourth and qualify for the Champions League. Hell, I suspect if we pipped Liverpool to fourth and they only had UEFA Cup football, he'd still want to leave, but we've got an even better rumour for you; Adriano.
Now, I don't remember where I saw this rumour but on the site that I was reading they say it was mentioned on Italian radio that we've made enquiries about the availability of the player. It also said something about Inter not wanting to sell to another Italian club - opening the door for a Premier League club.
Well, would you like to see Adriano in claret and blue? I would and if the Robinho playing for Manchester City deal demonstrates anything, it's you don't need Champions League or London - just a bucket load of cash and the promise of some more.
Football is all about the money these days and if you offer enough - it's quite clear you can get what you want. The question then, is; do we have the money to lure a player like Adriano?

It's nice to be touted with a player of that supreme quality, rather than the likes of DOYLE. I would rather welcome these kind of spurious rumours, as if they're said often enough they eventually come true.
Big Randy has not held back the purse strings whenever MON has asked, but, we don't really know what the restrictions are. Unfortunately for MON, he is also old school and finds it obscene to pay over inflated prices for footballers. If he can blank this from his mind, we might just start getting some fairytale signings.
I thought Liverpool was bankrupt.
your having a laugh surely??
Liverpool are joint top of the league mate, not fighting for 3rd or 4th, and certainly nowhere near your uefa cup dog fight.
I don't know where it comes from, but you villa fans really do have a lot of bitterness and resentment (and a fair bit of delusion) towards liverpool.
IF liverpool go for barry again and he leaves, then thats because liverpool are in the top ten clubs in europe, if not the top 5 and compete regularly in ALL competitions. he wants a bit of glamour rather than playing in one of the dullest clubs in one of the dullest cities in the world.
Its about time you lot grew up and realised your position within the hierachy of football.
Adriano??
etdean,
We'll exchange him for TORRES and BABEL then.
The Adriano rumour is an interesting one. I wouldn't expect MON to actually sign a personality like Adriano, who so many good things were touted about (being the replacement for Ronaldo (the original fat Ronaldo)) but in the end hasn't performed as expected for Inter. Also, he's neither British or a player that has played in a British league and is therefore used to the weather, style of play and the culture of the UK.
But, he is exactly the kind of football player MON would buy. Strong but also fast, he'd obviously be a good target man upfront, but also someone who will give his fair shair of assists and goals. He has obviously got good technique and can score some incredible goals.
Whether its true or not he's definately the kind of player the club would need if it wants to start moving up the table.
Reply to Van_Dutch:
Mean't to say he wouldn't be used to our wonderful weather, culture, and football style!
From what ive heard hed love our drinking culture!!!!
But he is truly class if he can stay on the straight and narrow - would be a great signing
I had Adriano in my Pro EVO Villa team for a few seasons and he was MAGNIFICENT so yeah bring him on. Martin would get the best out of him definitely.
As much of a priority should be looking for a Barry replacement, although this may not be realistic until the summer. I'll be glad to see the back of him the way he's played so far this season.
stewy
liverpool have a proud history and when you say joint top of the league, what you actually mean is second and nobody remembers who finished second.
unless you are a liverpool fan because that is the highest i think you've ever finished in the premier league and dare i say it, it's the same for aston villa. in fact i think i'll make a bold statement and say we've finsihed as high as you have in the premier league and as many times.
in fact, you have to go back to 89/90 to find the last time you won the top flight league title which is nearly 20 years and you only have to go back a few more to find the last time we won it
liverpool are a bigger club than us, for sure, but if anyone is deluded, it's the vast majority of liverpool fans. i've recently put money on you lot finishing 4th again and i'm confident of collecting.
where did you finish last season?
Can anyone tell me what Adriano is valued at and what kind of wages he'd be asking for,I would take julio cruz over Adriano but both are class players and would be welcome at villa park
Damian, fancy a wager?
For all you villa fans who think your as big as us (liverpool) when was the last time your won the champions league? or even played in it?
for that matter, when was the last time you actually won anything?
i respect villa and they are a decent club, but liverpool are far far far bigger.
Adriano looked a class act 3 years ago but by all accounts he is really fond of partying and has a really bad attitude. I think Inter shiped him off home to Brazil to help sort his head out. I would still love to see him at VP though as unlike a lot of others MON has bought and tried to fix this guy has real talent and what MON does best is motivate players. Don't believe it will happen though.
Guy
nobody is saying liverpool are not a bigger club or that you've won a few trophies
but what i am saying is you're not as big as you think
but i'll have a bet with you - that you'll finish 4th. again
Stewy,
We dislike so many Liverpool fans, because so many are deluded arrogant plebians like yourself. Already this season, like us, you are NOT contenders for the league cup or league. You were recently pistol whipped by SPURS, and think you have been lucky in many other results this season.
TORRES and GERRARD are holding you together at the seams. The chairmen at your club are not solid and united (excuse the pun) like the glory days of the 70's. Liverpool maybe the city of culture, but, you can't polish a turd! You love your team so much, you feel it necessary to rob them as thanks. You can't buy class, sonny jim
Reply to Guy:
Guy just wondering why you are on a Villa blog site? Is it because the word Liverpool was in the heading of the article and it appeared on the Liverpool newsnow website. If this is why, Damien can you stop putting the word Liverpool in the headings as im sick of these stupid arguments with liverpool fans every second day.
Reply to AVFCBlog:
Liverpool have won 18 titles. You seem to be blinded by Sly Sports who think football only started when the league was renamed. Its better that people like you keep stum so that we noboday actually finds out how stupid you are!
Villa are a midtable club while Liverpool a massive club you can understand why he wants to move and to play CL football etc. they don't even want him anymore i think since xabi alonso is playing so well. barry probably move to serie a or La liga and join a big club.
Get over it.
its funny liverpool fans speak to other fans like this but speak to each other in meak worried voices and expect defeat.
the truth is other teams go into a game with man u or chelsea and expect a beating and have no hope. they are already beaten when the match kicks off.
a match with liverpool offers hope of a win or draw and aslong as teams have that you will not win the title.
you have no recent history of chalenging for the title and therefore i believe damian is right in saying what he has.
Nice to see you can spell Danny!
Adriano was a great player some 4 odd years ago, now hes over weight and well over the league driving limit pretty much all the time. When he was in his prime a few seasons back easily one of the best and most feared strikers in the world for sure, big, strong and a cannon for a foot. However he has gone downhill since then, he doesnt score anywhere near as many goals as he used to, hes never fully committed on the pitch.
Hes old coach Roberto Mancini gave up on him and he was a great manager, now hes got Jose Mourinho as a manager and hes even better, mourinho gave him a chance and started to turn things around, but hes been partying again and mourinho has given up on him.
If a coach like mourinho and mancini cant motivate him to play for a club like INTER MILAN, im afraid as good a manager as MON is (im not trying to start a debate about who the better manager is), i dont think he will be able to turn Adriano's career around at a club like Villa.
He would have been great several years ago at villa, but when he was at his prime theres no way we would of got him, i dont see the point in taking a chance on a player like him who will im pretty sure be a disruptive influence.
Nice rumour though, and if it does happen, who know lets hope im totally wrong.
Liverpool fans, weve heard this arguement all summer, nobody cares anymore, yer yer your a bigger club congrats, nobody respects you or likes you and you havent won the league in nearly 20 years.
danny
yes - you've won 18 titles, but i dont think the league started with sky sports. but you can tgry to put words in my mouth all you want - they wont fit
when was the last time you won one of these titles? thats right - read above
capt.
mid-table club? we finsihed 6th last season - you finsihed 4th - not a huge difference. lets see if you move on from your 4th place this season and lets see if we move on ..
If you are so much bigger, why take the time to write on an Aston Villa Blog!? Obviously not that much bigger that you can't help but to have a look at your closest rivals to 4th spot. Of which we certainly are!!
Liverpool fans,
I'm sure you think Stan Boardman is the funniest man on the circuit and the Beatles are still playing in the Cavern. More worrying, is that you think the team of the 70's is mirroring your success now.
The superstars of Liverpool have been replaced with Wayne Rooney and some bird with big nerks from Hollyoaks. What has remained constant, is the deluded citizens of Liverpool.
Finishing 6th once doesn't mask what you have done in the league for last decade or so. always finishing midtable a really dull football club.
you were 2nd highest spenders in Europe this season still doesn't look like improving MON keep on signing average english players. its matter of time before randy pull the plug on your club and moves on counting his losses.
Also its extremely funny to see some villa fans talking about spurs loss in a tin pot cup. didn't you lot already lost to championship side at home in the 3rd round itself?
gerrards gay
Capt,
...'didn't you lost' halfwit! You still don't get it do you? You're the ones with the ego, thinking you're a top club. YOU'RE NOT!
i've had carraghers mom
james-villa,
Urgh! Did she spit and throw coins at you?
Reply to capt.:
You should be looking closer to home about American chairmen pulling plugs.. Your chairmen are in danger of turning your club into the next Leeds.
At least we are safe in the Knowledge that our club has a secure future. Our chairman isn't going anywhere.. he is a philanphropist. There is more to him than just purely business.
As for being the 2nd highest spenders, we are in the early stages of building... it doesn't even start to compare to what Rafa and his predecessors have spent over the past years and still you cant win the league.
personal insults, haha I should have expected as much from slack jawed midlanders.
and we've all had carraghers mum sunshine, and so what if gerrard is gay? he's still a dam site better than any idiot who's ever graced the stinking turf at villa park.
and our marvellous owners may be a pair of tw@ts, but at least we all know, you seem to think st randy is going to do something to change your club, but we're all still waiting for this "dream signing" dream on, your club will never EVER win a league title in your lifetime, and as for the champions league? i'd rather bet on everton.
I hope to god you rats get battered on and off the pitch when you come up to anfield, fucking degenerates.
Nuke Birmingham, although by the looks of some of you, someone already has.
Honestly, I hate this "my club is bigger than your club" nonsense, it's so bloody immature. We will play our football and Liverpool will play their football. I love football and I love this blog, AND I love having thought out conversations about football, but one thing I will always hate is the pointless arguing over something as vague as who is the 'bigger' club. It's just silliness.
Ah the old building side excuses. we have been hearing this from villa side god knows how many years
in all honesty you don't look like getting out of your mediocrity and break into top 4 anytime soon. you probably face difficulty in finishing top 7 with others improving.
Our Americans are selling soon enough as Dubai's 500m is already on the table they are just taking there time waiting for banks order the pair of cunts.
talking about rafa spending you don't really have a clue dont you? he spent 200m in his 5 years here Made 80m+ through various players sales and Progression to later stages in CL every year means we have earned 120m in last 4 years from CL football.
Gareth Barry wants to go to liverpool and compete at a higher level than we currently are, similar to why Steven Gerrard has nearly joined chelsea twice-a team with a REAL chance of winning the league. Only differenc is that gerrard stayed. not because he thinks you can win the league. he loves the club too much.
EdAVFC sorry to those sensible villa fans but i just cant stand these deluded one's may be they are just younger fans here.lot of them seems bitter after Barry saga.
Reply to AVFC_Pete:
haha why do chelsea have a REAL chance but liverpool don't?
Last i looked we were the only team to beat chelsea at home in about 4 years? and we're on the same points as them, surely sir, at this stage of the season, we have EXACTLY the same chance as winning the league as chelsea.
Can you not comprehend that?
do you know that the league works on a point's system? are you aware of that? also Gerrard nearly left for other reasons than football, but i wouldn't let facts get in the way of your arguments, crack on oop the villa.
Deadly Doug 4 EVA
you spent 200m brought back in 80m and your up 120m can you do your maths again!
to mean it seems your down 120m on player transfers!
Adriano would be a great signing for any of the Premier League clubs, provided the manager can cope with the player's volatility.
I am a big fan of Benitez (and a Liverpool fan) but doubt that he (or Wenger for that matter) would be the right manager for Adriano. MON, Reknapp and (perhaps) Sir Alex would be more likely to strike gold here.
If Aston Villa can get their hands on Adriano at a decent price, I certainly think they should. I don't understand where all the bad blood between Liverpool and Aston Villa has suddenly come out, but if it is sheerly down to the Barry saga I suggest we bury it and start anew.
By the way, I think you have an excellent manager in MON and wish you all the best this year (provided you don't take any points from us
Stewy,
Come and batter and nuke us. Why not rob from us as well? At least it'll give your missus and neighbours a rest
Reply to notsosilentbob:
again its a very simple concept, god bless those teachers in the midlands.
Spent - £200 million, got that??
Recouped - £80 million, ok, we still there?? thats £120 million spent on players.
Champions league earnings over his 4 year reign - £120 million - the gentleman was merely making the point that liverpool have earned every penny they have spent my boy, its really not a difficult concept.
See if Uncle Randy can grasp it too and you'll be fine.
Well said ED its pointless talk. The Barry situation in the summer was annoying but mainly just because it got so boring not because it was liverpool. I didnt want Barry to leave he is a great player, or was a great player for us, now though I'm not bothered he's been pretty crap this season bar a couple of games.
Not too sure about Adriano, he was a great player a few seasons ago but obviously had off-field problems, remember when he whacked that bloke in the throat? Funny but not if he was a villain. Even so, I hope that we do look further afield than reading or wigan when the window opens we need much more creativity in the side and a top class striker if were gonna do any better than last season.
Stewy,
Enough is enough now. Give the computer back, it's really not working for you is it? xx
firstly i'm gay, so no wifey there mate.
and secondly, have you considered the overheads to travel all the way to birmingham on the rob?
also you are all scruffs, so there's owt worth robbing, i'll stay round here and ply my trade if its all the better with you.
and I can't give the computer back, obviously i'm a scouser and i've robbed it soft lad, if i give it back i'll get caught.
come on at least keep up your hilarious taunts.
Reply to stewy:
dont get pendantic with me!
care to make a full list of all players rafa has brought i bet that comes to more than your quoted figures?
would you also care to make a list of all the players rafa has sold? and the totals sold for?
Stewy,
No need for your first point; that's obvious. He's still referred to as your missus. I wouldn't expect you to pay to come to Birmingham you buffoon. I think you meant to say, there's nowt worth robbing, so obviously you wouldn't spot class if it slapped you in the face. Plying your trade in Liverpool? Isn't that just a vicious circle. Finally, giving your computer back is a metaphor. B+ for effort though Shirley.

and no, i meant "owt" which is a colloquialism from yorkshire i think, it means nothing or nada or "nowt" as you so elequently put it.
and poor old villa_chris, its not his fault if he's a bummer (and a villa fan too, what are the odds...
nah in all seriousness and baiting aside apart from the fool hiphopmalik or whatever his name is.
I think its pretty evident that barry would like to move to liverpool or arsenal so he can have a bash at champions league football, and as much as you may hope / believe that villa will finish top 4, you've got to see that its a very distant hope, and with liverpool being 9 points clear already, its unlikely that you will catch us, so maybe arsenal or united? doubtful.
The animosity which has arisen from this is a shame, and i genuinely blame martin o'neill, he seriously overeacted and publisised every aspect of the protracted move, trying to make liverpool look like bad guys when in all likelyhood it was barry's agent who will have initiated things.
barry was also out on the lash in liverpool a couple of weeks ago, thats a pretty bad move if you ask me, (and he was photographed before people question that...)
Mr Barry is to blame for this, not liverpool football club.
Reply to notsosilentbob:
and no mate, i really wouldn't i don't know the figures, and i really couldn't be arsed, google it if you want though, have fun.
stewy you raised a good point about the people/person to blame in all this barrygate nonesense its not rafa its not o'neill and to some exent its not barry..........that person is the agent and the company and reps that work for mr barry!
and for the record we're not that far behind you and your not that far ahead you had your spell of playing good football and so did we! you capitalised on your games with results we didnt.....neither will last to be honest and it'll end up just the same as many other seasons with liverpool in 4th maybe have a good shout a 3rd this season more than us but we will fight for every position we can and that'll be 4th/5th we are building for the future after all the f*ups mr ellis and co put us through but its the same old story man u chelski for the title arese/pool fighting for 4th and 3rd
Reply to Ipbopmalik:
you're just one of those clubs who hold onto to their top players for dear life!! Teams like you are just jealous that teams like liverpool have so more superiority over small clubs such as yourselves, so that we can actually have the ablity to take players like gareth barry away from you.
And to add to that TORRES and GERRARD are not down to us winning games. If you were wise enough you would have watched the Liverpool Man U game and seen that we completley ruled the game with no help from GERRARD or TORRES until the last remaining minutes of the game when we brought on GERRARD, which really didn't make much difference.
It's fans like you who can't stand the fact that other teams have some of the best players in the world, so you decide to ridicule that with rediculous stories!
Start saying your goodbyes to BARRY!!
Stewy,
A metaphor for 'give it up!' Sorry about nowt, I thought you were from Liverpool. I say all this very eloquently.
BARRY is only moving to play with his best mate, GERRARD, not Liverpool.

We don't get this with other football fans that much, a lot of them actually come on here and treat us with some respect. It's just the liverpool fans, they are like a cancer on this blog at the moment.

I think I would if they actually changed their tune once in a while, it's always; "we've won loads of titles back when you were in nappies", "we're still great, we are, honestly, look we won the champions league, no it wasn't a fluke" and "ooh we have Torres and Gerrard and erm, erm...".
I think I would enjoy the banter if they varied it slightly. But prefer it from other teams, the Geordies are good for it at the moment.
last time i checked...liverpool scored a DEFLECTED goal, and got battered by a barrage of shots and chelsea possession.
whereas last season we beat them, AND scored 4 goals at their place, being unlucky and going down to 10 men beforehand...
FACT. every neutral fan in this league thinks liverpool have been LUCKY this season, that luck wont run all season, damos right, youll finish 4th, again. oh and double check your facts scouse boy, because villa are the 4th most successful english club in history. FACT, check it out.
Stewy come into the forum and have some banter with us......OR ARE YOU SCARED?????
There's no doubt MON and Barry had a chat in the summer and, once it became clear Liverpoor were unwilling to pay the asking price, MON must have told Barry to hold fire for a little longer: in agreement with just about anyone, Barry will go and good riddance, although £12m would be disappointing after asking for £18m.
Adriano is a monster of a player: powerful, technical, has a shot capable of putting a defender in intensive care and would probably be suited to the Premiership.
But then I said something similar about Shevchenko 2 years ago, so what do I know.
I remember seeing Adriano make his Inter debut in a summer friendly vs Real Madrid: he came on for Vieri and scored a free-kick, have a look at this link LINK
One problem with the guy: he's very, very fragile emotionally and has the tendancy to self destruct. He's had a bit of a personal nightmare over the past 2/3 years. Let's call him a brazilian Collymore, minus the car parks.
Alas, if someone can "save" him, that's our Martin.
A stint as a right back and Adriano will be brand new.
Thanks AK_27 for that suggestion for Damian to stop using the word "liverpoo" in the titles of his artocles. I find it offensive.
Stewy-
you seem to forget the whole so-called new stadium that was being built, what happened to that?? o yea... stopped construction, your players are being paid with I-O-U cards. your manager is a joke, just scooping up players once they reach their prime. He cannot develop real talent at a young age. you talk all this ish on the last decade of our playing, but in that decade we had a diff manager, and owner.
our time has come, and yours has run out.
UTV
Liverpool are a great club - one of the top five worldwide IMO.
All this carping about Barry - what a load of bollocks. For God sake we have made it clear we are prepared to lose at least £14m on this player by fighting off Liverpool at the start of the season. I can see no clearer statement of ambition than that and regardless of whether you like the player or not RL should be massively applauded for that attitude.
Adriano? What a joke. The guys an idiot.

Well barry disagrees with you. he thinks you are just a small club with no sign of progression.
And this article come up on newsnow site of LFC section and if you gonna talk shit about our club then you should expect some backlash.
Having read all the comments posted here by some sensible villa fans (and some not so sensible) i would like to throw my 2 cents in. When the GB saga started all you villains were up in arms and wanted extortionate amounts of money for him, now though all i keep reading is how shit he is and how you cant wait to see the back of him. was he worth the 18M u guys wanted for him? and is he still worth it? my answer to both questions would be a resounding no!
I dont care that you hate us scousers coming on here, we will defend our club from people talking bollocks about us no matter where we are. and all this shite about liverpool being a shithole, have any of you ever took a good look at birmingham? things arent so rosy around there.
A lot of you cant see the woods for the trees, Villa are a decent side under MON, you have good young players but top 4? again its a no from me. If you look at players in there respective positions for each club in the top 4 and compare villa's then its clear to see you will struggle to get top 4. Agbonlahor as good as he is, isnt in the same class as torres, drogba, adebayor and berbatov. GB/reo coker/steve sidwell compared against gerrard/alonso/mascherano, deco/fat frankie/ballack, fabregas/denilson/nasri and scholes/carrick/anderson. I wont even start on defense i think ive made my point its clear to see the quality of players in the top 4 will make it really difficult for you to do it.

You make some valid points my friend and i have to say that the comparisons you make are probably true. But we are still there at your shirt tails and we ain't been dropped yet. So i would have to say that we can hang out with the likes of all of you at the moment and hopefully at the end of the season we can prove you wrong.
On the Gareth Barry front, he was one of, if not the, best player in our team at the time Liverpool made their approach and his form has suffered since. I believe that it was Liverpool that has ruined his career at Villa. He no longer wants to be there and so has turned opinion against him, at the time we did not want to lose him at any price. Now we just want shut of him, so as long as someone comes up with the cash i'm sure he will be off in January!
stewy, learn to spell before you come onto sites like this please, it only goes to prove that what everyone else thinks about scousers is correct...you're all up your own arses, you're ugly, thick and robbing bastards...The rest of the premier league is pissing themselves at your expense...LFC, owned by a pair of sly robbing clowns, Managed by a sly robbing bastard and supported by sly robbing wankers...Anfield, a top ground?..don't make me laugh!!! It's a shithouse like its rival Goodison park...both places are very well suited to a shithole of a city like Liverpool...If your clown owners are skint this season, imagine where they'll be next season, especially when you fall away and end up finishing 5th this year...Stewy, fuck off to the 'half-wits' site, you're much more suited there...Up the Villa!!!
villarich1982 you wish hahaha. stop being small time villa supporter whats with slagging off superior club, ground and place then yours.
Be happy with your mediocre club with idiot manger.
Villa will probably not break into the champ league this season, just like liverpool wont win the title. I can almost certainly say that in 5 more prem games the battle for top will be between united and chelsea. Who can field two world class sides. Liverpool can barley field one. Thats the difference between liverpool and united and chelsea. Liverpool fans coming on here saying that you will win the league, you sound just as deluded to us as we do to you when we say about champions league football.
My dad is a liverpool fan, a sensible one, who knows alot about football, the early liverpool days and the modern game, and he is knows liverpool will have to have the same type of luck that won them the champ league a few years ago to win the title.
Liverpool have very very average fullbacks, and other than JC, your defence is very average. You dont score many goals at all, very rare to see liverpool stuff a team.
This is coming from a villa fan who actually has a soft spot for liverpool due to my old man.

Oops! that good old Liverpool fan football snobbery kicks in yet again!! It is quite apparent that it is in fact you who holds some bitterness towards Aston Villa judging by your comments above, ("one of the dullest clubs in one of the dullest cities"), there is nothing dull about Aston Villa fc, infact i believe as do most fans without red tinted glasses on that Villa are actually one of the most exciting teams around at the moment. I would suggest that it is indeed Liverpool who are playing some of the dullest football around at the moment. & as for Birmingham being one of the dullest cities well you obviously havn't travelled a great deal. Don't tell me Liverpool is one of the best cities is it?.. DOH! & as for your support!! I have seldom witnessed such poor support from a visiting team at villa park! No singing just sitting there expecting to win!.. NOW THATS DULL!!

I'll say one thing "Fabregas/Denilson/Nasri" 0 "Barry,Sidwell,Reo-coker," 2. So much for your expert analysis..DOH!
maindog united can field 2 world class side? really? with what players like fletcher,O'shea and park?
they would struggle to finish 4th without rooney and ronaldo as it shown when they find it difficult when both of them were unavailable. Stop licking their arse we all know you always roll over for united give them 6 easy points.
We have been improving each year. last season we only lost 4 times compared to champions united 5 losses. this season we made 2 good signing (reirra and keane)which improved our team making all those draws into wins don't forget we beat some top european teams for last 4 years in CL.
Carra only decent Defender we have? haha. talk about complete ignorance what about likes of agger(real madrid target) and skrtel? both are class only jealous fans like yourself think otherwise.
Capt. I should have put a commer instead of a full stop when talkin bout chelsea and united fielding two world class teams.i ment that just chelsea can. I agree with you, that united have some dodgy squad players. I also agree with you when you say about skirtel and agger being very good players. But i would much rather choose ALOT more center backs in the prem over both of them. Including our 3 class CB's, Laursen, Davies and cuellar.
What the fuck are you going on about when you say we just roll over for united and we lick their ass? We hate them just as much as you hate them and I garentee we would like to beat united more than anybody alse in the league, as they are one of two world class teams in the prem, the other being chelsea. Not liverpool. Not yet anyway. Your not far from it, But you need money to get there next season, which is going to be hard, as you're broke as fuck!
Liverpool CURRENTLY more trophies than Villa? True.
GREATER than Villa? Not even close. Fathers of League Football and England's most honoured club for the majority of the twentieth century - Aston Villa. And plenty more trophies to come.
Stick your deluded, self-righteous, navel-gazing, victim mentality nonsense on your own message boards. Totally classless football club and as equally nauseating fans.
