I'm not sure what is going on but the rumour that first started in October last year about Boaz Myhill coming back to Villa Park, has started up again.
We sold Myhill to Hull for £50,000 back in December 2003 and since then he's gone on to impress; with Arsenal and Wigan both sending scouts in recent months.
Anyway, this morning in the Daily Star, they're saying that Peter Taylor has put a £3mn. price tag on his head. Not a bad return on the £50,000 they paid for him and it's double the £1.5mn the same rumour suggested it would cost to bring him back in October last year.
Anyway, it's all pure speculation and having not seen much of Myhill I can't really comment. I can say it's the Daily Star, so don't be surprised if this never happens.
Rumour likelihood: There is about as much chance that I'm going to eat the cold pizza in the fridge from last night, sometime today.

Bet you that pizza is not gonna make it till tomorrow ! ;)
Can you really withstand a DAY without pizza, Damien? :D ;)
I know i couldn't.
We are not going back to the days of turnip or DO'L now. We are after players that would provide quality to this young villa squad. Players that will take us up another level...if he was that great then villa wouldn't have sold him. If you were any of the big 4 clubs would Boaz Myhill strike the fear of God into you?
can someone tell me about boaz myhill i have never heard of him
