It goes a little like this; Oliver Holt and his cronies at the Daily Mirror play pin the tail on a Premiership team.
When they've picked the team they then look at all players either not in the first team or coming to the end of their contract. When they've got both the team and the player they've got a story.
Naturally that player is then going to move to that club when the transfer window opens. It's only a rumour from the Mirror so it's not even taken with a pinch of salt, it's just discarded as rubbish.
We don't know what's going on with Samuel, we only know he's picking up a lovely salary for doing very little apart from keeping fit. He probably wouldn't even be missed if he left and I just have a feeling he'd move on if he was offered more money.
I'm probably wrong but it's just my opinion.

Should get rid of him in the summer & sign a decent left back to cover Bouma if he gets injured. Shame about Jloyd I think he has the ability but lacks confidence.
WAITING FOR THE FULHAM GAME IS KILLING ME.
Can we please not have such a big gap between games again!!Bloody Carling cup final
What is Samuels contribution to the reserve team like? I can't say I actually follow. I liked him when he started first playing, fresh, quick, skillfull but lacked experience as expected. Haven't notice him much last season at all has he even played this season?
If he does go then maybe its a good move for him but who would we replace him with. I'm sure MON has no intentions of letting players go unless we replacements with the current squad size.
Saying that big squads will end up having players who are paid to stay fit. Should first choice or even second choice become injured.
I sympathize with you, Stoff. 3 weeks is way too long between games. Regarding Samuel, I'm not sure if we should work with him or try and get some cash for him. He's doing well for the reserves, apparently in central defense on occasion, so maybe we should give him time (he's still youngish).
