Wilfred Bouma, back in the Dutch squad after an impressive run of games, has had a snipe at our previous manager.
Is he the first of the players to have a pop? I seem to remember a few during his time to have a swipe but it was soon dismissed by the manager as something else.
Talking to someone Bouma said "I've learned more in six months under Martin O'Neill than in the whole year before. Neither the previous manager nor his coaches spoke to me when things weren't going well."
Bouma is quite a revelation this season and many thought, and wouldn't have been wrong in thinking, that we had a flop on our hands at the end of last season but it just goes to show what a decent manager is capable of.
Dare I say it, it's like a new signing!

It reminded me of when Man.Utd bought Danny Wallace instead of Rod Wallace. I think Freddy's twin brother has taken the place of the fat, cumbersome oaf that was playing for us at the start of the season.
Just think Bouma back in the Dutch side, Cahill, Gabby & young in the under 21's squad and to top it all off Barry back in the England team..A bit different than last season!!
All hail Martin
