Brazil are only team better than England

Naturally players like Owen and Becks have to attain a certain amount of press coverage each week to keep sponsors happy but doesn't this do him more damage than good?

England only qualified because of other results and only beating Austria 1-0 isn't anything to get too excited about.

I hope England put in a good performance at the World Cup next year but for me I'd rather see Aston Villa win any cup than England win the World Cup.

I'm proud to be English and I'll support England but it's a running joke that Peter Crouch gets picked only because he's playing for Liverpool and the fact that we've got a Swedish manager that most want to see rid just amuses me every time I think about it.
