Celtic's Stephen McManus a Villa target

According to Tory rag the Daily Mail, Aston Villa will be making a move for Celtic's Stephen McManus.
The defender has rejected a new contract offer from Celtic and becomes a free agent in the summer.
However, this could just be paper talk adding Villa's lack of funds, our need for a defender and him being a free contract together. If I said I was a centre-back I'd probably get linked, so believe it when you see it.
