Chris Sutton joins Birmingham City on a free

Chris Sutton has joined Birmingham City on a free transfer. This is a good move for Blues as it sees an experienced player join the relegation dog fight that is sure to continue at St Andrews.
Sutton who has played in Glasgow since 2000 after a stint at Chelsea and after winning the title with Blackburn and Alan Shearer.
He is a good player and should do well but I honestly think he has spent too long away from the Premiership and at 32 will only create false hope for all the Blues fans thinking they are Premiership giants.
