David O'Leary 16/1 for Newcastle job

William Hill have wasted no time in creating some odds for the vacant managers job at Newcastle United.

Newcastle legend Alan Shearer is the favourite at 7/2 and not surprisingly Sven Goran Eriksson is also in the hunt at 8/1. A surprising name in the hat is Glen Roeder - I suspect Hill's are hoping for a few wild punts on the former West Ham manager to cover some bets.

O'Leary at 16/1 is probably worth a couple of quid, only if you're betting on the hope that he leaves but I doubt he will or that Newcastle will make that mistake.
