David O'Leary calls mate at Mirror for last ditch and desperate help

I finished primary school so I might just take that job at the Mirror. You don't have to have any journalistic talent to work at the Mirror just an ability to follow really simple instructions.

Now, we don't 'claim' to have any 'journalistic talent' but the Mirror is a national newspaper. I want to emphasise the word news because Oliver Holt, who for a grand will write what ever you want probably, has today not told us any news, just his opinion based on a fax from his pal David O'Leary, I'm guessing.

He's written an article saying the 'we're not fickle' banner was the best of the year, that O'Leary is doing a great job and that Villa fans should leave him alone. Well Oliver Holt you monkey, exactly how do you come up with that conclusion? Even when O'Leary has had his first choice starting 11 we've been humiliated.

Every season during he entire managerial career O'Leary has finished in a worse league position despite spending more money. In his first full season he finished 3rd and in every season after that it's just gotten worse.

You also say in your article 'Compared to most of his rivals, he's had very little money to spend. Certainly less than Steve Bruce at Birmingham'. Are you sure Holt? Have you done any research or are you just taking the cash these days and writing what you're told?

Birmingham might have a net spend of ?1mn. more than Villa over the same period but look at teams like Wigan, Manchester City, Charlton, West Ham, Blackburn, Bolton, Everton and Middlesbrough; they're net spend is less and they're all still above us.

How do you use that logic anyway? Should we have spent more than Blues so we can be in the relegation zone also? You should have picked a team in the top half of the Premiership if you really wanted that excuse to work!

Lastly, it's not even reporting a news item. All Holt has done is write an opinion and one that he didn't have all the facts for. Oliver Holt; not cash for questions but cash for reporting. Monkey.
