David O'Leary must now go

Sunday, 02 October 05, 06:54 PM · Comments (0)

I've just arrived home from the game and a lovely afternoon. Great lunch at Villa Park and a few glasses of wine made the day somewhat worth it but the result wasn't what I had expected.

Doug Ellis was heard saying 'that's it I've had enough' before standing up early and leaving.

Thousands of supporters stood up and left early and booed the team and the manager - justifiably so I should say also.

Today was embrassing. David O'Leary is useless and I'm now on Damians' side of this argument - what has he ever done as manager of Aston Villa or during his time at Leeds to suggest anything different.

If he'd have had a few years experience in the lower divisions and done it without the cash I'd say give him time but he hasn't and I don't think Aston Villa should be where he learns the trade.

I urge you all to vote 'go' in the poll that the site is running as this isn't good enough. When you leave for good O'Leeary, turn out the lights.
