Last night on the BBC David O'Leary was spouting off that attendances are the highest they have been for 20 years at Villa Park because of his 'high tempo' game.
Does David O'Leary know that the average attendance at Villa Park this season is over 5,000 below the average of last season and that's it's the worst attendance to capacity ratio in the Premiership?
As far as I am concerned there is only one thing that David O'Leary can do that would make me think any higher of him and that is if he walked away from Aston Villa.
This is his third season and I have seen nothing from him to justify his status as a premiership manager.
He should go spend some time in the lower divisions to find out how good a manager he is and spend less time on the golf course.
