David O'Leary's Aston Villa record

We've had a few emails in today about an article published somewhere showing David O'Leary to have a great managerial 'win' record, apparently one of the best in the Premiership.

I've done a little digging myself, or I've visited a website to look at his record as Aston Villa manager.

I'm not looking any further back than that because you could give me ?100m. and I'd have got Leeds into Europe.

During David O'Leary's time at Aston Villa he has managed 81 games and won 28.

It's not a bad record but it certainly isn't great, I think it puts him somewhere around 9th in the list which funnily enough is about where I hope we'll finish this season and about as best as we can hope for with David O'Leary as manager.

I say hope, because unless something drastic happens fairly soon we'll keep getting poor resutls like tonight. I wonder what Baros, Bouma and Milner are thinking tonight?
