Djemba Djemba and De la Cruz not allowed to leave Aston Villa

Saturday, 28 January 06, 10:47 AM · Comments (0)

According to the Daily Express Ulises De la Cruz and Eric Djemba Djemba have both lined up moves but Aston Villa are not letting them leave.

According to David O'Leary he has had no offers for them. What do you believe?

I don't think we get told very much as supporters. I think we get told what we already know a lot of the times to feed the need for information - it's just sent out differently. However, after having David O'Leary at Villa Park for nearly three seasons you can spot one of his lies or half truths at quite a distance. Remember the Vassell saga in the summer?

When he says he has not been contacted he's probably right. After all who is going to speak to the monkey when you've got the organ grinder to talk to? Doug Ellis has probably had the contact or somebody who is taking the strain for the chairman who is on and out of hospital.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Remember Hitz saying he was leaving - he played every match. Delaney requests a transfer and all of a sudden Ridgewell is dropped and Delaney is in.

Anyway, onto the FA Cup.
