Doug Ellis calls O'Leary in

Saturday, 22 October 05, 06:01 PM · Comments (0)

It is believed that Doug Ellis has instructed David O'Leary to be in his office first thing Monday morning after the defeat to Wigan at home today.

After the much publicised show of love between the two this week we don't think he's going to get his marching orders however much we would like that to be the case but surely this must be the last warning.

Aston Villa play Burnley in the Carling Cup on Tuesday then travel to Manchester City. If David O'Leary does not get the maximum out of these two games we're pretty hopeful that he'll be picking up his P45 and probably expecting the Republic of Ireland job.

David O'Leary is on Sportsweek on Five Live from 9.00am tomorrow just in case he does the honourable thing tonight.

There is a job going in Scotland if you're interested O'Leary and if George Burley is interested in the job at Villa Park I'm sure Doug would be willing to take your call.
