European anniversary events confirmed by club

The club have confirmed today that the 25th anniversary celebrations for winning the European Cup will take place over the weekend of the last game of the season.

Richard FitzGerald who, rumour has it, is an avid reader of the AVFC Blog, confirmed today that there will be events on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

For more detail on what will be happening and where visit the official website but for those of you not that interested in the official site here is an overview; Friday: Fans Q&A with the European Cup winning squad at the Holte Suite, Saturday: The squad members able to attend will do a half time walk round the pitch, Sunday: Opening of the new training ground, Monday: Dinner, for invited guests at the Holte Suite.

I'm sure it's going to be a great weekend. Let's just hope it's a full house and the invite for the dinner is forthcoming.
