Fat Frank bigs up past performances

Monday, 03 July 06, 08:35 AM · Comments (0)

Fat Frank Lampard is a little annoyed about criticism levelled at him after a poor World Cup. To be honest I don't think anyone in the England squad should be saying anything but sorry to the fans at the moment.

Lampard said "I've been a little bit upset that, after what I've done in the last couple of years, I've missed chances and a few people have been on my back.

"I'm upset about that because I've worked my socks off to try to be successful in this World Cup.

"I would have loved to have scored the winning goal and shown a few people what they wanted to see.

"I'm getting criticism from outside and I feel it's a bit unjust and it gets my back up.

"I think I deserve a little bit of respect for what I've done in the last few years, but sometimes people come and want to knock you down."

Bottom line; England were passionless, nobody really looked like they wanted it and the decisions made by the manager were often baffling. Nobody that earns the type of money Lampard earns can ask for 'respect' or talk about past performances. It's now that matters, not two years ago.

We're sorry it's getting your back up Frank but you played like you don't care and for the 100,000 fans that travelled to Germany and for everyone at home who pays your salary you have to say sorry and not give it large about what you've done the past two years.
