Before I begin I want to say thank you to everyone that is reading this, a bigger thank you to the ones who leave a comment every now and then and an even bigger thank you to to everyone that doesn't rush into the forum.
I'm saying thank you because we have become the most visited Aston Villa website apart from the official web site.
How do I know this I hear you ask? Well, it's quite simple. There is a site called Alexa that monitors internet traffic and ranks sites based on how much traffic they get.
As of today we have an Alexa Rank of 63,283 while the next most popular is Heroes & Villains with 69,787.
Basically those figures mean that this site is the 63,283rd most popular website in the world while Heroes & Villains is the 69,787th most popular.
I also want to thank Mat, Kevin, Luke and Doc who contribute when they have time and I promise you'll all get a profile page soon and a beer or two at that special match next season, which you may or may not yet know about, but I am looking into it.
Lastly, to the forum. It's new and still in development so will get lots of work done to it based on your suggestions. If you want to help up make it better, please join in and help.

Nice one buddy, we can only reply to your great articles on a well presented site. Dont take this as a•••e licking take this as a compliment.
good work guys!
this site is always a great read!
all compliments greatly received. cheers
Congratulations
It is the most popular villa site because the content is the best.
[url=LINK ranks higher
at villa_moose
that url you put in actually monitors vitalfootball.co.uk so i've changed the link so as not to deceive anyone
alexa can not monitor sub domains. just like the official website at the moment is on premiumtv.co.uk and not avfc.co.uk
using your example. i could put a villa page up on blogger.com and claim it to be the 17th most popular site in the world. doesn't work, but nice try
I read every article, most comments and, hell, even post a comment occasionly myself. I have the avfcblog feed on my Google/ig homepage so I know when there is a new article (though sometimes it doesn't seem to update). Good work fellas, heres to next season.
its the best because there is no bullshit like the other villa sites.
i'll use the forum only because i expect it to be clean like the rest of the site. if it turns into the other villa forums then it will be just one more i dont visit but i trust damian and the other guys will do a good job like they have with the rest of the site
yea good work lads i'm just a new member but its the first website i log on to everyday
Well done chaps. Keep up the good work.

I actually visit this site before looking at [url]avfc.co.uk[/url. There are some great articles on this website and I love reading other people's comments. Keep up the good work!
What about Moose's comment Damian?
Or are you Doug-esque in only going off of your own PR? ;)

Thanks to all the fans for making this happen. We've been building up to this and there's still plenty more to come.
Up the Villa!
Bring on the forums.
Try banning other football fans out though.
;)
Yep, I like it and think I will be sticking around. Good work to Damian and his Team.
hello i dont know about the rest of the villa fans out there but i am begining to wonder when we are going to make these world class signing s the club have been shouting about !
7 players out 1 in , i remember a certaim Mr Oneil complaning we had a small squad last season !!!! well the way its going we are going to have to take our boots to the games just in case we are needeed on match day !!!!
Same old Villa get the Fans to put their hand in their pocket ( 23,000 ) and then dont stick to their end of the bargain !!!
Hopefully i will eat my words and we sign loads of great players but i just cant see it happening :)
