Gareth Barry has declared himself fit and ready for Blues

Gareth Barry has said he is for for Sunday. Talking on the official web site he said "I had half a chance of being fit last week, but the scan revealed I wasn't quite right. But I am now 100 per cent ready to kick on."

This will be a big game to come back for and if Olof Mellberg is not available then Barry will be captain.

This is the biggest game of the season. Blues at Villa Park is the one that we all look for when the fixtures are released and it may well be the last time for some time to come that we'll be playing this fixture as Blues are very involved in a dog fight that we could get dragged into if we don;t get all three points.

I'm predicting a scrappy win and I'm getting excited at the prospect.
