Good news on injury front, but will Gab be dropped?

Wednesday, 22 March 06, 10:58 AM · Comments (0)

Aaron Hughes, JPA and Super Kev returned to training today so should be available for the visit of Fulham on Saturday.

Unfortunately, I can only see Gab getting dropped for a more senior striker, despite a well taken goal on his debut.

He didn't play amazingly, but goals are the currency of a striker's trade I once heard.

I'm not sure if Kev and JPA will be fully fit by Saturday having had a virus in the system and an ankle injury (respectively) so we'll wait and see.

I'd be suprised if Hendrie didn't start in place of Milner, who looks set to be out again.

Hendrie came on and lit the Villa team up and he clearly wants to play football- which is what we need right now.

And don't forget he got the assist for Gab.

But let's see what the tactical genius that is David O'Leary does come Saturday.
