Harry Kewell: Part time footballer and Martin O'Neill target?

bellamy deal looks our most likely so far this summer, which i wouldnt complain about.

Harry kewell wouldn't be worthwhile in my opinion due to the fact even when he is fit he has never done anything overly special that i have seen.

Martin needs to work his magic and show them the plans for the club in the coming years and make good players want to come to villa park, hopefully ending up in the same result as tottenham have achieved in the last few years

Bellamy isn't worth the £12mil Benitez says he is. We should look elsewhere, specifically either Jefferson Farfan from PSV or Diego Bisewar from Feyenoord, Holland would be a perfect place to look, if not there, Kris Boyd.

i just hope we dont pay too much for bellamy.

If only we had made that Euro spot then it may be different. Kewell is well past his sell-by date and would rather keep the physios busy at pool and Bellamy would rather warm the bench. well bellamy is on worth half of that price tag he has and i think kewell would be a awesome signing .. o'neill has a knack for turning players form and i think this could finally be it for kewell

Bellamy - yes (at a reasonable price); Kewell - no...but, having said that, I'm sure MON knows what he's doing!

I dont want either of them, I recon we should go for reo-coker as hes young and MON will get the best out of him, Giles Barnes as he looks class and definately one for the future, the obvious one is Bent who is available but everybodys after him so not much chance there, what about Ismail Aissati who is 18 and plays for PSV, hes had champions league expierence and was voted player of the tournement in last years euro under 21 championship.
I do like though the Taylor rumour and any one who can score a few goals for us would be a good signing as thats where we struggled for most of last season.

Giles Barnes won't leave Derby now they've gone up. We should've gone for Gareth Bale although there's nothing to suggest we didn't.

Bellamy is half decent when he's focused on football and not behaving like a spoilt brat. Kewell was good on his day,but,is an injury liability. Why are we not being linked to world class players?...More worrying is the rumour that MON has 25-30 million to spend on players. I say yes Kewell is a gun that has just had some bad luck due to injury but after a years rest he is fitter than ever which means he is most likely to come of the asian cup and his last year at liverpool back in form and at an added bonus villa may pick him up cheap off liverpool due to his nightmare stint there, I think that O neil has the right idea if villa get him it will add some experience and class to the side
