Former Aston Villa manager John Gregory has today thrown his hat in the ring and declared his interest in taking Lee Hendrie on loan to Queens Park Rangers.
Despite how we joke about Hendrie we do like him as a player and we've always like Gregory. These two would go well together and I reckon Gregory will know what buttons to press to get Hendrie firing on all cylinders which can only be a good thing for Aston Villa.
Other teams thought be interested in taking the midfielder on loan are Crystal Palace, Portsmouth and Wolves. I'd rather see Hendrie go to QPR and play with Gregory as it will just further stoke my interest in my new second team but I guess the decision is with Martin O'Neill and the player.
Also, congratulations to Matt Hook for winning the first Paul McGrath signed copy. There will be another chance for you all to enter later on today or maybe tomorrow.
