Henderson takes swipe at O'Leary

Tuesday, 01 November 05, 01:58 PM · Comments (0)

Reserve goalkeeper Wayne Henderson took a swipe at David O'Leary today after revealing he would like to join Brighton, where his currently on loan.

The 22-year-old told BBC Sport "For me, personally, it's a horrible place to go to."

He continued to say "I get on great with the Academy and goalkeeping coaches, but Mr O'Leary has his own views on what he wants in goal - and I'm not part of that."

It may just be sour grapes from a goalkeeping 'reject', but pressure must be mounting on the man alledgedly responsible for bringing down Leeds United and even the reserve keeper's having a go.

Who's gonna be the first senior team member to step out and slate O'Leary? Vassell's too nice a lad to that, but I'm sure in private he's got a few things to say.
